What We Do
Our Core Principles
Compass Financial believes in using three main guidelines when planning for retirement:
Safety First
During your younger years, you may have invested using a passive “buy and hold” strategy. And back then, that was perfectly serviceable. If the stock market goes down while you’re still working, it’s likely you’ll have time to recover from losses before you reach retirement. However, as you approach retirement, you no longer have time on your side. You’re going to need that money soon, so you may want to take a more active approach to keeping it safe–and growing your savings, to ensure you don’t run out during retirement. That’s where we come in; protecting your money is our top priority, because we understand how vital that is to any good financial retirement plan. Reach out to us to learn more about how we can help you.
Reasonable Rate of Return**
Protection is crucial, but so is earning a reasonable rate of return** on your savings. You deserve a financial planner who can get you both of these benefits. We can show you plans and products that have the potential to grow your nest egg while keeping your principal and interest safe. Once you know all your options, earning a reasonable rate of return** is much easier than you might think.
Keep It Simple
Many people begin to feel overwhelmed as retirement approaches; financial planning during this time can be scary. But, we believe it doesn’t have to be stressful or complicated. We have a Series 65 financial planner, Ryan Brummans, as part of our team. We can break down for you all of the factors that impact your finances in retirement, and give you our advice in regard to what you can do. Learn more by attending one of our educational seminar events.
We host regular educational seminar events, to help people learn more about their options in retirement. At these events, guests enjoy a delicious complimentary gourmet meal, while getting up-to-date information about the latest issues impacting retirement and strategies they may not have thought of.
You could schedule a one-on-one meeting with us.
We can discuss ways you can retire with confidence. Additionally, we will review how much the stock market impacts your retirement future, and what approach we believe you should take to managing your money.
